North Central Texas College
Graham is home to a campus for The North Central Texas College Community College. This district is one of 50 public community college districts state wide. NCTC’s statutorily designated “service area” includes Cooke, Denton, Montague Counties and the Graham ISD. The College District fulfills its mission by offering programs leading to associate degrees and certificates and providing: University Transfer Education, General Education, Career and Technical Education, Developmental Education, Student Development, Continuing
Education and Community Education. The partnership with NCTC has allowed Graham to respond with offering programs that are specific to providing a workforce needed in our community. The Graham Campus provides a LVN Nursing, Petroleum Technology, Welding Technology, and HVAC Programs.

With approximately 2,500 students Graham ISD is a fantastic school district with a tradition of academic and extra-curricular success. Known for its innovative and cutting edge educational practices, Graham ISD is blessed with tremendous community support for public education. Graham ISD’s commitment to innovation and education is evidenced by progressive programs such as 1:1 Laptop Initiative for all High School Students and the providing of IPADs, Smart Boards and Promethean Tables throughout the campuses. Graham ISD faculty is comprised of 189 professional, certified staff including teachers, counselors, and librarians, as well as 130 caring and committed paraprofessionals including classroom aides, secretaries, custodians, maintenance, food service and transportation employees. Together we are making a positive difference in the lives of children.

In addition, GISD also provides Parents As Teachers services to children from birth through age 5, Graham Learning Center as an alternative learning environment, and GED course work for adults.
Private Schools
Open Door Christian School
Open Door offers Pre-K through 6th Grade. They have a low teacher to student ratio low. Primary curriculums are ABeka, BJU Press and Purposeful Design. In addition to traditional subjects, music, art, PE, computers and Spanish are also taught.
